Interior Renovation

An existing 3,300 square foot warehouse space in Minneapolis was remodeled into a photography studio for a commercial photographer who specializes in advertising, editorial and conceptual work.

The organization of the space remained essentially unchanged, with the exception of removal of specific interior partitions and the drop ceiling to open up the space. Improvements were also made to the mechanical, electrical and lighting systems throughout the building. A custom floor-to-ceiling steel and translucent acrylic screen define the entry and create privacy for the producer’s area. A new client lounge was incorporated into the double-high studio space. The lounge has a translucent screen suspended from the ceiling to defuse light and add scale to the space.
