Headquarters and Training Facility Build-Out

This Downers Grove, Illinois corporate office was built out on four floors. The 108,000 square foot space included a training facility, open office space and private offices. The training facility accommodates multiple classrooms, a 54-seat lecture hall, breakout spaces and a food preparation area. Moveable tables were used in the training areas to allow maximum flexibility, and all areas support sophisticated technology requirements.

To visually break up the space, workstations were staggered and light fixtures were installed on a diagonal. To allow for maximum daylight, private offices were placed around the building core and open office space was placed at the perimeter. Instead of using conventional construction methods (metal framing and drywall) for the private offices, a reusable office wall furniture system was installed that allow the client to change the floor plan easily as their needs change.
